Hi Sergio,
Let me add my two cents worth. I notice you haven't been around the forum for a while. I hope that the experience of sharing this story with us has not been so painful that you don't want to revisit it anymore.
If that's the case, I hope you'll just leave it lie and perhaps post some lighter works. We miss you here.

Sergio, your words reached deep within my soul. I felt your pain and fear. I felt the hurt in your fellow man, and i felt your confusion at the reactions of your family. Be patient with them for they know not what damage they did to you. In many cases of rape the parents go into denial. If the person who committed this horrendous act was himself a family member the denial is understandable. It doesn't make it easier for the victim. Your courage to write about this shows how much you are trying to heal. many people will tell you that writing is the best approach to the healing process we have, and as poets we carry the pains of the world and our terrors upon our shoulders. Many of us are all wounded in some way and that gives us a special ability to reach out to those who have suffered as we have. your empathy will grow as well as your words. you have my greatest respect for making the move to reach out to others and to work on healing your deep pain. Keep writing, you will eventually see the magic and power of the written word. love and hugs mary etta
