[/img] This is an abstract which is something I am just playing with. It is a cliff walk from my village along the seafront to the next town so it is cliff, water, sky, sea and fields and mountains in the distance. I will post more over time but these are the latest ones. I painted in a past life too, landscapes and flowers mainly back then. This is a departure for me into abstract and I loved doing it. I sent it to a friend Cheeno who asked me to paint one for him. He had it framed and it looked nice framed. Attachments:

Ooooh I do love this one too! I can imagine it looking brilliant in the frame. I loved the reflection of the landscape in the water...you are very talented Eiken Since I've started work I haven't had a chance to paint...I find it really frustrating...I have been dying to get out and do some painting outdoors but haven't managed it yet. Love your work Eiken!

Dianne and Heather, I have only had time recently to paint again after years of not doing anything. I used to be good at it ;D It will take some practise to get back to feeling comfortable and confident with it. Many thanks for your thoughts.

Another very lovely piece - you have the single most important talent for an artist - the ability to see beyond just the physical and capture the feel and express it to others.

Dear all, Thank you for the lovely comments on my art work. It is a stained glass effect, something new that I am enjoying a lot. I don't do anything abstract in life but this is a breaking out, a new me almost or a playful me which is something I have always found difficult. So happy you all like this.
