Dianne, This is so awesome. The turtle looks so real! It appears that the feeling isn't mutual since they seem to love the turtle. Great work!

Thankyou Brigid, the title I think is a little to do with me, I really hated painting those yellow fish, and the turtle looked so grumpy I figured he agreed with me! ;D

I am diggin' this! I especially like the turtles grumpy face, it suits him well as his feet give the appearance of ,"I just want to float a bit right now....maybe if I don't move they will go away," but they don't instead they are busily hovering over him and my daughter just said ,"because his shell just tastes like shell fish." I called her in to see it, she is working on a water pic with frogs, thank you for posting this, it encouraged her to keep plugging along, as her water got muddied a bit, thus discouraging her six year old self. So this was a good push.

Wow, diannet I thought you took a photo of this at first. It took me a couple glances to realize it was a painting. So realistic! Very nice.
