I am always happy to hear from you. I had a fatal car accident in 2010. Twenty two surgeries later, I am still here. I have one good arm. The doctors said I would not walk, talk or think again. I have proven them wrong on all counts. However, after two brain traumas, I wonder. I do not give up or give in. I am the strongest woman I know. I have resurrected entirely on my own as I lost my mom and ad while in the coma. I am a stranger in a strange land. Very few friends.Grace. I am out of hospital three days and could not wait to get enough of my senses to come here. I am heavily medicated. I have several home health assistants who are quite often distracting me. ( in the most loving way). I am attempting to catch up after being in hospital. I will be seeing you in the funny papers. LOL. XX

Thank you for giving us this background information Lavenderblue. They say that those who have been down that final tunnel and then found themselves back in the land of the living have changed perspectives on life. This can be the stuff of which poetry is made. Medication and physical limitations can affect our moods and self images and to make a full comeback from where you have been is a remarkable thing to do. We wish you all strength and want you to realize that the readers on this site are not here to destroy their fellow writers but rather to help them to become more self fulfilled.
Neal
