Eiken this is perfect. One of the best haiku I've read. The vision is so strong and emotional. I do hope you are okay and so sorry for your loss.

eiken this utterly moved me. This is beautifully wrought. Why is it that pain polishes a poet's work till it shines like diamonds? Sadness for your troubles, eiken. So sorry you are suffering.

Dear all, Thank you for your kind wishes. Another family death last weekend, it is a bad time of year for deaths, my father's anniversary has just passed also and it is still so cold here, a bit of sunshine would help but Spring is here today, March 1st. Hopeful for warmth. I found myself stirring my coffee and thinking of the funeral, her death sinking in as I stirred without thinking, the mind stirring so many memories.

Hi eiken,
I hope you don't mind me bringing this one back. It's been a little over a year, I notice, since you posted it. It is so lovely, I think others will enjoy seeing it again. I hope this year has brought you some relief from the acute part of your sorrow. So sorry for your loss. Cory

Hi Cory, No problem, I am surprised you managed to find an old one of mine, I could not find it myself LOL. This time of the year is a sad one, my father's anniversary and the death of my favourite aunt and since then another one has passed away along with a few friends sadly. The weather is getting better now, April already so a bit of sunshine today makes a big difference. I even have washing on the line for the first time and am just back from a my second life in Germany. It is good to be home in Ireland.
