Dan, I really like this, it could be anything, a suicide attempt came to mind for me at first but then other ideas, love the short form poetry.

haha. makes me think of my own identity crisis. i take it very literally. i think i became born as a poet when i truly realized i was but a mortal on a rock in a very, very, VERY, big universe

I like how it infers the speed at which we can become lost when we take our eyes off the horizon. Love it.
