Thanks for commenting. I'm glad you liked the poem. It is interesting that you read it as a Tanka, as to me it was more of a Ghogyoka. I can entirely see how it works as a Tanka, though. My favourite thing about poetry is how the reader's interpretation matters far more than the writer's intention.
