There's been a lot of discussion about how to best upload a photo. I'll tell you the simplest way I've found. First, your photo must be stored on a hosting site such as flickr or photobucket (there are a ton of others). These sites give you an option for "sharing" and will give you the code for your photo (you may have to explore around the page a bit, but you'll find a box that has codes for various places you want to upload the photo to). On photobucket, I select the "Image" code, and it automatically copies to my computer, then I come to our site and paste that code into the message box. (You can add the additional command for centering your photo if you choose, from the commands above the message box). Your photo will then appear in the message box (select "preview" to see it before posting).
Hope this helps.

Guess what? It turns out I won't have to go load all my photos to an image-hosting site after all. If you have an image anywhere online and can click on it to view it in a single http link, I think all you have to do is copy the link address between the image code brackets (what appears when you click on the insert image button that looks like a little picture above) and *poof* it appears after you hit "Post". I loaded mine from the listed URL where wordpress said the image was stored in my Media Gallery. I'm gonna go try a random image I have online to test my theory. BRB ;D

Yep, look-y there, it works. So, anywhere there's an image online, if you right click on it, you can then choose "View Image". When the new window or tab opens, just copy and paste the url. Ta da! However, I don't know how to add the code for centering. Just fyi, This image started as a meez.com image I uploaded to gravatar.com, but I wanted it to look more like me. So I downloaded it, enlarged it to paint it, then shrunk it again. I tried posting a 2nd image from a secure connection - https and it didn't work. I'm not sure of the problem's cause.

Okay, I discovered that method may not work consistently but the following should... When you right click on the image, choose "Copy Image Location" [shortcut is Alt + o, I think ], then paste [ctrl + v] between the img brackets.
