I usually write longer poems, typically free verse, so I'm challenging myself to brevity and rhyme. Thank you for the inspiration. This image is beautiful It looked locked in a cry Could not imagine why Did some baby cacti die?
Do you think the personification is too "dorky"?

Hi Molly, Thanks for your sweet little poem in response to this. I don't think it's "dorky" at all, but then I often tend toward the dorky myself. This is actually the combination of two images, one the swirly looking cactus, the other an extreme close-up of a cactus bloom. Needless to say, the colors aren't original. I really like that you're letting our artwork inspire you. It's a fun way to stretch the imagination. Brigid

Do you see just above the midline how the dark gap in the cactus looks like an open mouth crying out? I love this bright blue. I'd hang this in my home. Overlaying 2 photos - neat; I' pretty sure i could do that with Serif PhotoPlus X3 but I never have.

Thanks Molly,
Yeah, I can see the mouth. Reminds me of the plant in "Little Shop of Horrors" Eek!
