C:\Documents and Settings\Timothy Emil Birch\My Documents\Art Gallery\TheMask.JPG[/img] I thought this drawing of mine might inspire a poem or two - this was drawn [or whatever term one wants to use - I believe some digital artists refer to what they do as "realizing" a picture but that just sounds too..... well, too something for me] but this was drawn using a mouse as the paint brush and my memory for the model. Hiya firemonkey! This is awesome. Very haunting. What program do you use to create your artwork? I'm sure this will inspire some poetry. Great work!

I use Photoshop 4 - I've tried Paintshop but I just can't keep the creative flow going in it for some reason and I've tried later versions of Photoshop but I don't like them. Also, I've tried drawing with an art-pad but it doesn't work well for me so I use a cordless optical mouse because somehow that is what works for me when I draw.
I'm glad you liked it - not all of m art would be likely to inspire poems, but there is some and this was one I thought would do it. Oh, this is my wallpaper for my computer too - well, I add gray bars on the sides to make it the right dimensions but other than that, this is it.

Thanks for the info. OK, I've posted a new haiku, which was inspired by this work. Check it out!
I really love this.

I just checked it out.
I'm glad you like the picture and I will try and upload a few other pictures that might inspire poems as well.
