Hi Dianne, Congratulations on your successful upload! Yay! It's an idyllic looking place. You're so lucky, living where you do. This will sound strange, but what I really liked about this picture was the detailing you did on the tree bark---so realistic! Is that a eucalyptus? Got koalas? Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

This little inlet is so close to where I live...I walk there often. No Koala's here. It is sad...where I used to live we were in a Koala passage that was wonderful...we had them in our tree's just near our balcony. Unfortunately development forces them where...I don't know. It's tragic. The bird life is incredible though... possums, kookaburra's red backed fairy wrens...just to name a few.

I love the painting - good technique and well composed - you picked a good angle to paint it from.
