Greetings all! This challenge is a bit different. I'd like to give visitors the top ten reasons they should join this forum, but I don't want to do it alone. I'll start it off and I hope some of you will come up with a reason or two of your own. I'm going to do it a la David Letterman, that is, starting with #10 first.
#10 It's more fun than cleaning litter boxes.

To follow Brigid's format:
#9 It's more constructive than writing privately in a notebook.

Oh, I love #8! Meanwhile, #6, I think, you can meet new poets and find community

#5 - it is better to hear honest friendly critiques that help you become an ever better poet than to get meaningless pats on the back which you are never sure how sincere they are.

Drumroll.... #1 It's cheaper and more fun than going to a psychiatrist. OK, everyone. We now have our top ten reasons. Once I "tweet" this, I'm sure new members will be flooding onto the site. Thanks to all for your participation! Brigid
