Hi everyone! OK, here's a new challenge for you: Write a poem about something---a spider, a dog, a frying pan, a doorknob, or whatever you like, without mentioning the name of that something. Then we'll all try to guess what it is.

Hi Deb, I'm looking forward to your entry! Here's one from me but it's probably way too easy! They flock there by the millions, coming together, to talk like birds, to shrink a planet.

I'm game. I'm all about wilful obscurantism, as any regular reader of my schtuff would wearily know. So this here pome rejoices in the title 'the holy koran', but it's not ABOUT the Holy Koran. So what is it about then, hmmm? Probably quite easy to figure...?
the holy koran
just here please, mate, just like in the front yard of the church here
just here?
yes, spot on lovely, thanks
3.50 then, boss so do you live in heath road then?
no, just behind the church
yeah, 'cos a lot of people ask to be dropped here
well, it saves going all the way round
OK, can I ask you a question then please mate, have you read the holy koran?
no
well they do it on the internet now free, like
OK

Hi Dianne & "time", Yeah, Dianne, I knew it was too easy. Of course it is Twitter. Is yours butterflies? And "time", is yours a ghost who just got a lift in a taxi?

Well, "time", I was thinking ghost because he said he lived just behind the church. Don't some churches have graveyards in back?
